Visit to the Planetarium
On Sunday 22 of May, ALPHA BANK celebrated the power of volunteerism, by giving the opportunity to 30 children to visit the Planetarium and spend a beautiful day .
Initially, children and their parents took a tour of "The forest beneath the Way" exhibition ". A unique and impressive exhibition, which presents to the public the preliminary results and limited excavation findings from the largest fossil excavation in Greece. After completing the exhibition tour, they all watched the movie called "A walk on the moon". In 1969, three astronauts dared to travel to the moon, where no man had ever been until then.
The kids movie "A Walk on the Moon" takes place during the historical period of time where people breathtaking watched the important achievements of astronauts and scientists . Combining the mission of Apollo 11 with the fun adventure of three young flies, children become aware of the new generation of space travel .
